My first book, Joe's Two Cents - It's Great to Be Alive!, is comprised of forty of my favorite stories from my newspaper column, Joe’s Two Cents.  These stories are based upon finding humor among the things we experience in our daily lives.  Most times, I think I've succeeded. 

It’s very gratifying when someone comes up to me in the supermarket and says “You read my mind!  That’s exactly what I was thinking!”  Thankfully, I haven’t had to coach anyone to say that yet, although I once offered to pay for a can of peas in one lady’s hand, when she approached me with a nice comment in the produce aisle.

I hope you enjoy this book.  For good measure, I've added an interesting photo and introduction to each story.  Just to make sure you're paying attention.  There will be a test later...
